Linda Carroll, Cr.Photog., CPP - Mastering Set Design for Storytelling
About this event
Discover the art and science behind building captivating sets that elevate your photography and storytelling. Set design is not just about choosing a backdrop—it’s about creating a visual narrative that enhances your subject, mood, immersive experience, and overall composition. During this class, you’ll learn how to transform a simple background into a dynamic, engaging set that complements and amplifies your creative vision. Also, bring your camera for hands-on crafting with background creations.
* Linda began her professional journey as a sports photographer, so it is only fitting that her first International Competition award was for a fastpitch softball image. She concentrates on women fine art portraits, family portraits, branding and corporate head shots. At Christmas, Santa comes to the studio for special Visits with Santa Experience.
As an instructor, Linda is engaging with her classes. Her students come away with new ideas and concepts that they can implement when they return home. She believes you have to follow your dreams and pursue them with reckless abandon - no matter what your age! Growth comes from learning, and then sharing what you know with others. The teacher learns more than the student. Her favorite song is “Kodachrome” by Paul Simon.
