Whether you are new to image competition, working on your degree or just need tips on getting your images to merit, this class has it all. We will cover the 12 elements of a merit image, what makes for a strong image and what to avoid. Everyone attending this zoom class can submit an image and get feedback from a trained PPA juror!

Eddie Tapp: Eddie’s workshops and lectures have been hosted around the world as well as a consultant to businesses and agencies large and small. 2023 Eddie celebrates 50 years in the photography business. He served 18 years as an Explorer of Light with Canon USA, was inducted into the Photoshop Hall of Fame and, for the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), he served as chairman of the Digital and Advanced Imaging Committee. Eddie has received some of PPA's highest honors including the National & Directors Awards, has received the Technology Impact Award in 2019 and January 2023 he received the 1000 merit achievement honor.

Sharon Fuente: Sharon is an award winning photographer and was named the Photographer of the Year for the Georgia Professional Photographers Association (GPPA) in 2024. She is a Professional Photographers of America (PPA) Certified Professional Photographer and has earned the prestigious PPA Master of Photographer degree. In 2022 she was one of 18 photographers chosen to represent the United States of America on Team USA for the World Photographic Cup.
