In 2018 GPPA lost a long time member, friend to all who met her and integral part of the association. Katie was the Print Comp Chair for many years. She was the wife and right hand to our past president and executive director Kevin. She was not officially on the board but was the glue which helped hold so many little pieces of Photoworks and Exposed together. Her passing has created ripples which have effected so many parts and people of GPPA. To honor her memory we have renamed the "Peoples Choice Award" to the "Katie Jiminez Heart Award" which is presented at the annual awards banquet.  |
