Thinking about becoming a Certified Professional Photographer? Afraid to take the written exam? Confused about “rule of thirds”, “inverse square law”, reciprocal exposures, 3:1 lighting ratio, hyperfocal distance, color theory, or the Bayer filter? Well, the Board of Directors of the Georgia Professional Photographers Association are making a special opportunity available to all GPPA members.
On Monday, August 30, through Wednesday, September 1, the GPPA is making the CPP Preparatory Class for Certification available for GPPA members to take at no charge. (This class usually costs $300 at Imaging USA or at least $500 if taken at an affiliate PPA School). This free class for GPPA members will be held on the campus of North Georgia Technical College in Clarkesville Georgia. Class will be from 9am to 5pm each day and lodging can be easily found in nearby Helen and Cornelia Georgia.
The class will be taught by Eric Richards, CPP, Master Photographer, Photographic Craftsman and PPA Approved CPP Instructor. Eric has been teaching the CPP Prep Class for over 35 years. He has taught regularly throughout the year at PPA headquarters and at Imaging USA. Eric is recognized as one of the foremost instructors in teaching the CPP Prep Class. Eric is also the current director of Photoworks Georgia.
In order to take the class for free you must be a GPPA member and in good standing. If you are interested in taking the class, or have questions, please email Eric at: photoworksga@gmail.com
